We’d like to say a big ‘thank you’ to everyone who attended In:box 2013 last week at the Natural History Museum in London. We had a fantastic morning of talks for all Campaignmaster users, and got some great feedback from you afterwards. We’ve already started to see a lot of people implementing the ideas we shared at In:box 2013, which has led to some great gains in both subscriber lists and reporting statistics.
For those of you that missed In:box 2013 last week, you can catch a glimpse of what went down over in our Facebook album.
After sharing the statistic that over 40% of email opens are now occurring on a mobile device, we’ve seen a surge of interest in mobile optimised campaigns. It’s now more important than ever to make sure your email templates are mobile friendly. At In:box 2013 we shared our top ten tips for responsive email design, including single column layouts, tap-friendly buttons, mobile specific content and more.
We also took you through some of the most effective steps for growing your subscriber lists via subscription forms, forward to a friend banners, in-store events etc… and how to get your most active subscribers into ‘the circle of life!’. Just one week on from In:box 2013 and these tips have already led to some noticeable improvements in list growth across the Campaignmaster platform.
In addition to talking about subscriber lists and mobile optimisation, we also dedicated the biggest chunk of the morning to a special training session. It was great to highlight powerful yet little known features of Campaignmaster, which were a surprise to new and veteran users alike. Some of these features included:
- Link Salvage
- In-built Image Editor
- Hot-spot Reporting.
